Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel (अतिथिसत्कारः प्रज्ञानवचनस्य च पराश्वासनम्)
को जय प्राप्तवांस्तत्र शंसैतन्मे जनार्दन । अर्जुनने पूछा--वृष्णिनन्दन! त्रिलोकीका संहार करनेवाले उस युद्धके उपस्थित होनेपर वहाँ रुद्र और नारायणमेंसे किसको विजय प्राप्त हुई? जनार्दन! आप यह बात मुझे बताइये
ko jaya-prāptavāṁs tatra śaṁsaitad me janārdana |
അർജുനൻ ചോദിച്ചു—ഹേ വൃഷ്ണിനന്ദനാ! ത്രിലോകസംഹാരകമായ ആ യുദ്ധം സമീപിച്ചപ്പോൾ, അവിടെ രുദ്രനും നാരായണനും ഇവരിൽ ആര്ക്കാണ് വിജയം ലഭിച്ചത്? ഹേ ജനാർദനാ! എനിക്ക് ഇത് പറഞ്ഞുതരിക.
