Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)
देवा देवर्षयश्नोचुस्तमेवंवादिनं गुरुम् | एकपादस्थिते धर्मे यत्र क्वचन गामिनि
devā devarṣayaś nocus tam evaṃvādinaṃ gurum | ekapādasthite dharme yatra kvacana gāmini
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അപ്പോൾ ദേവന്മാരും ദേവർഷിമാരും അങ്ങനെ സംസാരിച്ചിരുന്ന ആ പൂജ്യഗുരുവിനോട് ചോദിച്ചു— “ധർമ്മം ഒരു പാദത്തിൽ മാത്രം നിലകൊണ്ട് അസ്ഥിരമായി എവിടെയെങ്കിലും അലഞ്ഞുനടക്കുമ്പോൾ, എന്താണ് ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്?”
