वेददृष्टेन विधिना वैष्णवं क्रतुमाहरन् | तस्मिन् सत्रे सदा ब्रह्मा स्वयं भागमकल्पयत्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! देवाधिदेव भगवान् नारायणका यह वचन सुनकर उन सबके रोम हर्षसे खिल उठे। तदनन्तर उन सब देवताओं, महर्षियों और ब्रह्माजीने वेदोक्त विधिसे वैष्णव यज्ञका अनुष्ठान किया। उस यज्ञमें ब्रह्माजीने स्वयं भगवानके लिये भाग निश्चित किया
Vedadṛṣṭena vidhinā vaiṣṇavaṁ kratum āharan | tasmin satre sadā Brahmā svayaṁ bhāgam akalpayat |
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വേദം കാണിച്ച വിധിപ്രകാരം അവർ വൈഷ്ണവ ക്രതു അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു. ആ സത്രത്തിൽ ബ്രഹ്മാവ് തന്നേ എപ്പോഴും ഭഗവാനു വേണ്ടി പങ്ക് നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.
