ज्ञेया: प्रकृतयोडष्टौ ता यासु लोका: प्रतिष्ठिता: । वेदवेदाडसंयुक्तान्‌ यज्ञान्‌ यज्ञाड्संयुतान्‌,“इन आठोंको प्रकृति जानना चाहिये, जिनमें सम्पूर्ण लोक प्रतिष्ठित हैं। लोकपितामह ब्रह्माने सम्पूर्ण लोकोंके जीवन-निर्वाहके लिये वेद-वेदांग और यज्ञांगोंसे युक्त यज्ञोंकी सृष्टि की है। पूर्वोक्त आठ प्रकृतियोंसे यह सम्पूर्ण जगत्‌ उत्पन्न हुआ है

ഈ എട്ടിനെയും പ്രകൃതികളായി അറിയണം; അവയിൽ തന്നെയാണ് സർവ്വലോകങ്ങളും പ്രതിഷ്ഠിതമായിരിക്കുന്നത്. (ബ്രഹ്മാവ്) വേദ-വേദാംഗങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയതും യജ്ഞത്തിന്റെ അങ്ങങ്ങളാൽ സമ്പന്നമായതുമായ യജ്ഞങ്ങളെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു.
