इति चाप्यत्र कौन्तेय मन्त्रो वेदेषु पठ्यते । वेदप्रमाणविद्ितं धर्म च प्रत्रवीमि ते,कुन्तीनन्दन! इस विषयमें वेदका एक मन्त्र भी पढ़ा जाता है। मैं तुमसे उसी धर्मकी बात कहता हूँ, जो वैदिक प्रमाणसे विहित है
iti cāpy atra kaunteya mantro vedeṣu paṭhyate | vedapramāṇaviditaṁ dharmaṁ ca pravakṣyāmi te, kuntīnandana |
കൗന്തേയാ! ഈ വിഷയത്തില് വേദങ്ങളില് ഒരു മന്ത്രവും പാരായണം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നു. വേദപ്രമാണം സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ആ ധര്മ്മം ഞാന് നിനക്കു പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.
