पितृयज्ञे नारायणतत्त्वम् — The Nārāyaṇa Grounding of Ancestral Offerings
शुकस्य वचन श्रुत्वा दिश: सर्वा: सकानना: । समुद्रा: सरित: शैला: प्रत्यूचुस्तं समन््तत:,शुकदेवजीकी यह बात सुनकर कानर्नोसहित सम्पूर्ण दिशाओं, समुद्रों, नदियों, पर्वतों और पर्वतोंकी अधिष्ठात्री देवियोंने सब ओरसे यह उत्तर दिया--
śukasya vacanaṃ śrutvā diśaḥ sarvāḥ sakānanāḥ | samudrāḥ saritaḥ śailāḥ pratyūcustam samantataḥ ||
ശുകന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ, കാനനങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയ എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളും, സമുദ്രങ്ങളും നദികളും പർവ്വതങ്ങളും—എല്ലാം എല്ലാ വശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുമവനോട് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു।
