यत्र शिष्यै: परिवृती व्यास आस्ते महातपा: । तत्राश्रमपद रम्यं ददर्श पितुरुत्तमम्‌,जहाँ महातपस्वी व्यास अपने शिष्योंसे घिरे हुए बैठे थे, वहाँ शुकदेवजीने अपने पिताके उस रमणीय एवं उत्तम आश्रमको देखा

yatra śiṣyaiḥ parivṛtī vyāsa āste mahātapāḥ | tatrāśramapadaṃ ramyaṃ dadarśa pitur uttamam ||

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—എവിടെ മഹാതപസ്വി വ്യാസൻ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ചുറ്റിനിന്ന് ഇരുന്നുവോ, അവിടെയായിരുന്നു ശുകദേവൻ തന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ആ മനോഹരവും അത്യുത്തമവുമായ ആശ്രമസ്ഥാനം കണ്ടത്.
