भावित्वाच्चैव भावस्य घृताच्या वपुषा हृतः । यत्नान्नियच्छतस्तस्य मुनेरग्निचिकीर्षया

Transliteration

bhāvitvāc caiva bhāvasya ghṛtācyā vapuṣā hṛtaḥ | yatnān niyacchatas tasya muner agnicikīrṣayā

Translation

അവന്റെ അന്തർനിശ്ചയം പൂർണ്ണമായി രൂപം കൊണ്ടതിനാൽ, ഘൃതാചിയുടെ സൗന്ദര്യം അവനെ മോഹിപ്പിച്ചു. അഗ്നികർമ്മം ചെയ്യണമെന്ന ഉദ്ദേശത്തോടെ മുനി ഏറെ പരിശ്രമിച്ച് സ്വയം നിയന്ത്രിച്ചിട്ടും ആ ഉദ്ദേശം കലങ്ങി പോയി।
