Mahāvasu’s Fall by Speech-Error and Release through Devotion (अज-विवादः वसोः शापः विमोचनं च)

ऋषिरप्सरसं दृष्टवा सहसा काममोहितः । अभवद्‌ भगवान्‌ व्यासो वने तस्मिन्‌ युधिष्िर,युधिष्ठिर! उस वनमें उस अप्सराको देखकर ऋषि भगवान्‌ व्यास सहसा कामसे मोहित हो गये। महाराज! उस समय व्यासजीका हृदय कामसे व्याकुल हुआ देख घृताची अप्सरा शुकी होकर उनके पास आयी

ṛṣir apsarasaṃ dṛṣṭvā sahasā kāmamohitaḥ | abhavad bhagavān vyāso vane tasmin yudhiṣṭhira ||

യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ! ആ വനത്തിൽ ആ അപ്സരസിനെ കണ്ട ഉടനെ ഋഷിയായ ഭഗവാൻ വ്യാസൻ പെട്ടെന്ന് കാമമോഹിതനായി; ആ നിമിഷം തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ചിത്തം കാമവശമായി മയങ്ങി.
