एषामेकैकशोडर्थानां सौक्ष्म्यादीनां स्वलक्षणम्‌ | शृणु संसार्यमाणानां पदार्थयदवाक्यत:

Transliteration

eṣām ekaikaśo 'rthānāṁ saukṣmyādīnāṁ svalakṣaṇam | śṛṇu saṁsāryamāṇānāṁ padārthayad avākyataḥ ||

Translation

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇപ്പോൾ സൗക്ഷ്മ്യം മുതലായ ഈ അർത്ഥങ്ങളുടെ ഓരോന്നിന്റെയും സ്വലക്ഷണം കേൾക്കുക. ഇവ പദം, വാക്യം, പദാർത്ഥം, വാക്യാർത്ഥം എന്നിങ്ങനെ വിരിച്ചു വിശദീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു।
