Royal Duty, Lawful Discipline, and the Question of Agency
यः स्वयं प्रतिहन्ति सम शासन विषये रत: । स बाहुभ्यां विनिग्राह्मो लोकयात्राविधातक:
yaḥ svayaṁ pratihanti samaśāsana-viṣaye rataḥ | sa bāhubhyāṁ vinigrāhyo loka-yātrā-vidhātakaḥ ||
വ്യാസൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വിഷയാസക്തനായി സ്വയം ശാസനനിയമം ലംഘിക്കുന്നവൻ ലോകക്രമത്തെ തകർക്കുന്നവനാണ്. ലോകമര്യാദയും ധർമ്മാചരണവും നിലനിൽക്കാൻ, അത്തരം ധർമ്മദ്രോഹിയെ ക്ഷത്രിയൻ തന്റെ ഭുജബലത്തോടെ തടഞ്ഞ് അടക്കണം.
