Aging and Death Cannot Be Overstepped

प्राक्‌ कृतेन ममत्वेन तासु तास्विह योनिषु । निर्ममस्य ममत्वेन कि कृतं तासु तासु च

prāk kṛtena mamatvena tāsu tāsv iha yoniṣu | nirmamasya mamatvena kiṁ kṛtaṁ tāsu tāsu ca ||

വസിഷ്ഠൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “മുമ്പ് ‘എന്റെത്’ എന്ന മമത്വത്തിന്റെ ശീലത്താൽ ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ ഓരോ യോനിയിലും അലഞ്ഞു. ഇപ്പോൾ നിർമമനായവന് വീണ്ടും ‘എന്റെത്’ എന്ന് പിടിച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്നതാൽ—ഈ ജന്മത്തിലോ മറ്റൊരു ജന്മത്തിലോ—എന്ത് നേട്ടം?”
