Utkramaṇa-sthāna and Ariṣṭa-lakṣaṇa: Yājñavalkya’s Instruction on Departure Pathways and Mortality Signs

ग्रन्थस्यार्थस्य पृष्ट: संस्तादृशो वक्तुमर्हति । यथा तत्त्वाभिगमनादर्थ तस्य स विन्दति

granthasyārthasya pṛṣṭaḥ saṃstādṛśo vaktum arhati | yathā tattvābhigamanād arthaṃ tasya sa vindati

വസിഷ്ഠൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്റെ അർത്ഥത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ചോദിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ, യോഗ്യനായ ആചാര്യൻ ശ്രോതാവിന് അനുയോജ്യമായ രീതിയിൽ സംസാരിക്കണം; കാരണം തത്ത്വത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെയേ ആ വ്യക്തി ഗ്രന്ഥം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ച അർത്ഥം യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ നേടുകയുള്ളൂ.
