Adhyātma–Adhibhūta–Adhidaivata Correspondences and the Triguṇa Lakṣaṇas (Śānti-parva 301)

शक्‍्यं चाल्पेन कालेन शान्तिं प्राप्तुं गुणार्थिना । एवमुक्तेन कौन्तेय युक्तज्ञानेन मोक्षिणा,कुन्तीनन्दन! इस प्रकार बताये हुए ज्ञानसे सम्पन्न मोक्षाधिकारी तथा आध्यात्मिक उन्नतिकी अभिलाषा रखनेवाला पुरुष थोड़े ही समयमें परम शान्ति प्राप्त कर सकता है

śakyaṃ cālpena kālena śāntiṃ prāptuṃ guṇārthinā | evam uktena kaunteya yukta-jñānena mokṣiṇā ||

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— സത്യമായ ശ്രേയസ്സിനെ തേടുന്നവന് അല്പകാലത്തിനുള്ളിൽ തന്നെ ശാന്തി പ്രാപിക്കുക സാധ്യമാണ്. ഹേ കൗന്തേയ! ഇങ്ങനെ ഉപദേശിച്ച ജ്ഞാനത്തോടെ യുക്തനായി, അതിനെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ സമ്യക്‌മായി ഏകീകരിച്ച മോക്ഷാധികാരിയായ সাধകൻ शीഘ്രം പരമശാന്തി പ്രാപിക്കും।
