Saṃhāra-krama (The Sequence of Cosmic Dissolution) — Yājñavalkya’s Discourse

बलस्थस्य हि योगस्य बन्धनेशस्य पार्थिव । विमोक्षप्रभविष्णुत्वमुपपन्नमसंशयम्‌

Transliteration

balasthasya hi yogasya bandhaneśasya pārthiva | vimokṣa-prabhaviṣṇutvam upapannam asaṁśayam ||

Translation

ഹേ പാർഥിവാ! യോഗം ബലത്തിലും സ്ഥിരതയിലും ദൃഢമായി സ്ഥാപിതമായാൽ, അത് ബന്ധനത്തിന്റെ അധിപതിയുമാകുന്നു; സംശയമില്ലാതെ വിമോക്ഷം വരുത്തുവാനും പൂർണ്ണമായി ശേഷിയുള്ളതുമാകുന്നു. അർത്ഥം: മനസ്സിനെ ലോകബന്ധനത്തിലേക്ക് കെട്ടിവയ്ക്കുന്ന അതേ ശാസിതശക്തി, ശരിയായ ദിശയിൽ വിനിയോഗിക്കുമ്പോൾ മോചനത്തിന്റെ ഉറച്ച മാർഗമാകുന്നു.
