Śānti-parva Adhyāya 30: Nārada–Parvata Samaya-bhaṅga, Śāpa, and the Marriage of Sukumārī
तां पर्वतस्ततो दृष्ट्वा प्रद्रवन्तीमनिन्दिताम् । अब्रवीत् तव भर्तैष नात्र कार्या विचारणा
tāṃ parvatastato dṛṣṭvā pradravantīmaninditām | abravīt tava bhartaiṣa nātra kāryā vicāraṇā ||
നിന്ദാരഹിതയായ സതി-സാധ്വിയായ രാജകുമാരിയെ ഓടുന്നതായി കണ്ട പർവതൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ദേവി! ഇവൻ തന്നെയാണ് നിന്റെ ഭർത്താവ്; ഇതിൽ മറ്റൊരു വിചാരം വേണ്ട.”
