ततः प्रीतो भवो देव्या: प्रहसंश्षेदमब्रवीत् । गच्छत्वेष यथाकाममिति राजन् पुन: पुनः,राजन! यह सुनकर महादेवजी पार्वतीपर बहुत प्रसन्न हुए और हँसते हुए बारंबार कहने लगे--“अब यह जहाँ चाहे जा सकता है'
tataḥ prīto bhavo devyāḥ prahasann idam abravīt | gacchatv eṣa yathākāmam iti rājan punaḥ punaḥ ||
അപ്പോൾ ദേവിയായ പാർവതിയിൽ പ്രസന്നനായ ഭവൻ (ശിവൻ) പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ പറഞ്ഞു—“രാജാവേ, ഇവൻ ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളിടത്തേക്ക് ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ പോകട്ടെ.” എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും പറഞ്ഞു.
