अध्याय २८१ — दानधर्मः, न्यायागतधनम्, ऋणत्रय-परिशोधनं च
Dāna ethics, lawful wealth, and settling obligations
प्राप्तोडस्मि भगवन् देव त्वत्सकाशमनिन्दित । यत् कर्तव्यं मया देव तद् भवान् वक्तुमहसि,'भगवन्! अनिन्द्य देव! मैं आपके निकट आया हूँ। प्रभो! मुझे जो कार्य करना हो, उसके लिये आप मुझे आज्ञा दें!
prāpto ’smi bhagavan deva tvat-sakāśam anindita | yat kartavyaṁ mayā deva tad bhavān vaktum arhasi ||
ഭഗവൻ, അനിന്ദ്യ ദേവാ! ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പ്രഭോ, ഞാൻ ചെയ്യേണ്ട കർത്തവ്യം എന്തെന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞുതരണമേ; എനിക്ക് ആജ്ഞ നൽകണമേ.
