रथस्थस्य हि शक्रस्य युद्धकाले महात्मन: । ऋषिभ: स्तूयमानस्य रूपमासीत् सुदुर्दूशम्,युद्धूके समय रथपर बैठकर ऋषियोंके द्वारा अपनी स्तुति सुनते हुए महामना इन्द्रका रूप ऐसा तेजस्वी प्रतीत होता था कि उसकी ओर देखना भी अत्यन्त कठिन जान पड़ता था
rathasthasya hi śakrasya yuddhakāle mahātmanaḥ | ṛṣibhiḥ stūyamānasya rūpam āsīt sudurdṛśam ||
യുദ്ധസമയത്ത് രഥത്തിൽ ഇരുന്ന മഹാത്മാവായ ശക്രൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ), ഋഷിമാർ സ്തുതിക്കുമ്പോൾ, അത്രയും ദീപ്തമായ രൂപത്തിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു; അവന്റെ ദിശയിലേക്കു നോക്കുന്നതുപോലും അത്യന്തം ദുഷ്കരമായി തോന്നി।
