फिर तो दुन्दुभियाँ, जोर-जोरसे बजनेवाले शंख, ढोल और नगाड़े आदि सहस्रों बाजे बजाये जाने लगे ।। असुराणां तु सर्वेषां स्मृतिलोपो महानभूत् | मायानाशश्व बलवान् क्षणेन समपद्यत,समस्त असुरोंकी स्मरण-शक्तिका बड़ा भारी लोप हो गया। क्षणभरमें उनकी सारी मायाओंका पूर्णरूपसे विनाश हो गया

പിന്നീട് ദുന്ദുഭികളും ഉച്ചനാദമുള്ള ശംഖുകളും മേളങ്ങളും ഡിണ്ഡിമങ്ങളും മുതലായ ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് വാദ്യങ്ങൾ മുഴങ്ങി. അപ്പോൾ എല്ലാ അസുരന്മാരുടെയും സ്മൃതിശക്തി ഭയങ്കരമായി ലോപിച്ചു; ഒരു ക്ഷണത്തിൽ തന്നെ അവരുടെ മുഴുവൻ മായകളും പ്രബലമായി നശിച്ചു।
