Kapila and Syūmaraśmi on Renunciation, Householder Support, and Epistemic Authority
एवमेवायमाचार: प्रादुर्भूतोी यतस्ततः । सहायवान द्रव्यवान् यः सुभगो5थपरस्तथा
evam evāyam ācāraḥ prādurbhūto yatas tataḥ | sahāyavān dravyavān yaḥ subhago ’tha-paraḥ tathā ||
ഇങ്ങനെ അഭയദാനരൂപമായ ഈ ആചാരം എവിടെ നിന്നോ അവിടെ നിന്നുതന്നെ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനെ ആചരിക്കുന്നവൻ സഹായസമ്പന്നൻ, ധനസമ്പന്നൻ, സൗഭാഗ്യവാൻ, ജനങ്ങളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ എന്നു കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
