न भूतो न भविष्यो5स्ति न च धर्मोडस्ति कश्नन । यो5भय: सर्वभूतानां स प्राप्रोत्यभयं पदम्‌

na bhūto na bhaviṣyo 'sti na ca dharmo 'sti kaścana | yo 'bhayaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ sa prāpnoty abhayaṃ padam ||

ആർക്കും ഭൂതകാലബന്ധനമില്ല, ഭാവിയിലേക്കുള്ള ആസക്തിയുമില്ല; ചെയ്യേണ്ട ധർമ്മകർമ്മം ഒന്നും ശേഷിക്കാത്തവനും; സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങൾക്കും അഭയം നൽകുന്നവനും—അവൻ അഭയപദം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
