तुलाधार उवाच आयानेवासि विदितो मम ब्रह्मन् न संशय: । ब्रवीमि यत् तु वचन तच्छुणुष्व द्विजोत्तम,तुलाधारने कहा--ब्रह्मन! आप मेरे पास आ रहे हैं, यह बात मुझे पहले ही मालूम हो गयी थी, इसमें संशय नहीं है। द्विजश्रेष्ठ अब जो कुछ मैं कहता हूँ, उसे ध्यान देकर सुनिये
tulādhāra uvāca | āyāne evāsi vidito mama brahman na saṁśayaḥ | bravīmi yat tu vacanaṁ tac chṛṇuṣva dvijottama ||
തുലാധാരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ബ്രഹ്മൻ! നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നതെന്ന് എനിക്ക് മുൻപേ തന്നെ അറിയാമായിരുന്നു; അതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമാ! ഇനി ഞാൻ പറയുന്ന വചനങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേൾക്കുക.
