कपिलगोसंवादे गृहस्थ-त्यागधर्मयोः प्रमाण्यविचारः

ततस्तु कालसमये बभूवुस्ते5थ पक्षिण: । बुबुधे तांस्तु स मुनिर्जातपक्षान् कुलिड्रकान्,तदनन्तर कुछ समय बीतनेपर उन सब बच्चोंके पर निकल आये, मुनिको यह बात मालूम हो गयी कि चिड़ियोंके इन बच्चोंके पंख निकल आये हैं
tatastu kālasamaye babhūvus te ’tha pakṣiṇaḥ | bubudhe tāṁs tu sa munir jātapakṣān kuliḍrakān ||
പിന്നീട് യഥാകാലത്ത് ആ പക്ഷിക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾക്ക് ചിറകുകൾ വളർന്നു. കുലിഡക പക്ഷികളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ ചിറകേറ്റുവെന്ന് മുനിക്ക് ബോധ്യമായി।
