Householder Primacy and the Royal Duty of Punishment
स भवानभ्यनुज्ञात: शुचिकर्मा महाव्रत: । ब्रूहि कामानतो<न््यांस्त्वं करिष्यामि हि ते वच:
sa bhavān abhyanujñātaḥ śucikarmā mahāvrataḥ | brūhi kāmān ato 'nyāṁs tvaṁ kariṣyāmi hi te vacaḥ ||
ഹേ ശുചികർമാ, ഹേ മഹാവ്രതധാരീ! നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് അനുവാദം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇനി പറയുക—നിങ്ങൾക്കു വേറെ എന്തെല്ലാം ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളുണ്ട്? ഞാൻ തീർച്ചയായും നിങ്ങളുടെ വചനം നടപ്പാക്കും.
