यथा यथास्थय प्राप्तव्यं प्राप्नोत्येव तथा तथा । भवितव्यं यथा यच्च भवत्येव तथा तथा

yathā yathāsthayā prāptavyaṃ prāpnoty eva tathā tathā | bhavitavyaṃ yathā yac ca bhavaty eva tathā tathā ||

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—എന്ത് എങ്ങനെ ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതാണോ, അത് അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയായി ലഭിക്കുന്നു. എന്ത് എങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കേണ്ടതാണോ—എന്തായാലും—അത് അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയായി സംഭവിക്കുന്നു.
