गतिं हि सर्वभूतानामगत्वा कक््व गमिष्यति । यो धावता न हातव्यस्तिष्न्नपि न हीयते
Transliteration
gatiṁ hi sarvabhūtānām agatvā kva gamiṣyati | yo dhāvatā na hātavyas tiṣṭhann api na hīyate ||
Translation
ശക്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സകല ജീവികളുടെ നിയതഗതി (കാലം) പ്രാപിക്കാതെ ആരെവിടെ പോകും? ഓടിവന്ന് ആക്രമിക്കുന്നവനാലും വധിക്കപ്പെടാത്തവൻ, നിശ്ചലനായിരുന്നാലും ക്ഷയിക്കുകയില്ല.
