कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च
Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation
नाहं तदनुशोचामि नात्मभ्रंशं शचीपते । एवं मे निश्िता बुद्धि: शास्तुस्तिष्ठाम्यहं वशे,शचीपते! मुझे अपने इस पतनके लिये तनिक भी शोक नहीं होता है, मेरी बुद्धिका ऐसा निश्चय है कि मैं सदा सबके शासक ईश्वरके वशमें हूँ
nāhaṃ tad anuśocāmi nātmabhraṃśaṃ śacīpate | evaṃ me niścitā buddhir śāstuḥ tiṣṭhāmy ahaṃ vaśe ||
ശക്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ശചീപതേ! അതിനെയും എന്റെ പതനത്തെയും കുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ ദുഃഖിക്കുന്നില്ല. എന്റെ ബുദ്ധി ഉറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു—ഞാൻ എപ്പോഴും പരമശാസകന്റെ അധീനത്തിലാണ്; അതിനാൽ സംഭവിച്ചതിനെ വിലാപമില്ലാതെ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു.”
