Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:

Yathā buddhyā mahīpālo bhraṣṭaśrī vicaren mahīm |

Kāladaṇḍa-viniṣpiṣṭas tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||

Translation

യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പിതാമഹാ! രാജശ്രീയും വൈഭവവും നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട രാജാവ് കാലദണ്ഡാൽ പീഡിതനായി നുറുങ്ങിപ്പോയിട്ടും, സമ്യക് ബുദ്ധിയോടെ ഭൂമിയിൽ എങ്ങനെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു? അത് എനിക്ക് പറഞ്ഞുതരിക.
