Santoṣa), Restraint, and Adroha (Non-injury
विधिना श्रावणेनैव कुर्यात् कर्माण्यतन्द्रित: । य एवं वर्तते राजन् स राजा धर्मनिश्चितः
vidhinā śrāvaṇenaiva kuryāt karmāṇy atandritaḥ | ya evaṁ vartate rājan sa rājā dharmaniścitaḥ ||
വിധിപൂർവം ശാസ്ത്രശ്രവണം ചെയ്ത് അശ്രദ്ധയില്ലാതെ സ്വന്തം കര്ത്തവ്യങ്ങള് നിര്വഹിക്കണം. ഹേ രാജന്! ഇങ്ങനെ ആചരിക്കുന്ന രാജാവാണ് ധര്മത്തില് ദൃഢമായി സ്ഥാപിതന്—ധര്മനിശ്ചിതന്.
