अन्तर्भूमिगता घोरा निवसन्ति सहस्रश: । शमयिष्यति तच्छुत्वा जह्ृषु: सुरसत्तमा:
Translation
ഭൂമിയുടെ അന്തർഭാഗമായ പാതാളത്തിൽ ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ഭീകര ദൈത്യർ വസിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ അവരെ ശമിപ്പിക്കും എന്നു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ദേവന്മാർ ആനന്ദിച്ചു.
