अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः
Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence
अत्रिवंशसमुत्पन्नो ब्रह्मयोनि: सनातन: । प्राचीनबर्हिर्भगवांस्तस्मात् प्राचेतसलो दश,अत्रिकुलमें उत्पन्न जो सनातन ब्रह्मययोनि भगवान् प्राचीनबर्हि हैं, उनसे प्राचेतस नामवाले दस प्रजापति उत्पन्न हुए
atrivaṁśa-samutpanno brahma-yoniḥ sanātanaḥ | prācīna-barhir bhagavāṁs tasmāt prācetaso daśa ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അത്രിവംശത്തിൽ ജനിച്ച സനാതനൻ, ബ്രഹ്മയോനി ഭഗവാൻ പ്രാചീനബർഹി. അവനിൽ നിന്നാണ് ‘പ്രാചേതസ’ എന്ന പേരിലുള്ള പത്ത് പ്രജാപതിമാർ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചത്.
