समाप्ते नियमे तस्मिन्नथ विप्रस्थ धीमत: । साक्षात्‌ प्रीतस्तदा धर्मो दर्शयामास तं द्विजम्‌,वह सदा मन और इन्द्रियोंको संयममें रखता था, क्रोधको जीत चुका था। अपनी की हुई प्रतिज्ञा सचाईके साथ पालन करता था और किसीके दोष नहीं देखता था। बुद्धिमान्‌ ब्राह्मणगका वह नियम पूर्ण होनेपर साक्षात्‌ भगवान्‌ धर्म उस समय उसपर बहुत प्रसन्न हुए और उन्होंने उसे प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन दिया

samāpte niyame tasminn atha viprastha dhīmataḥ | sākṣāt prītastadā dharmo darśayāmāsa taṃ dvijam ||

ആ ജ്ഞാനിയായ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്റെ നിയമം പൂർത്തിയായപ്പോൾ, സാക്ഷാൽ ധർമ്മൻ പ്രസന്നനായി ആ ദ്വിജനു പ്രത്യക്ഷ ദർശനം നൽകി.
