धर्मसूक्ष्मे त्यागप्रधान्यविचारः

Subtle Dharma and the Primacy of Renunciation

पूर्वशास्त्रविदो5प्येवं जना: पश्यन्ति भारत । क्रियासु निरता नित्यं दाने यज्ञे च कर्मणि,भरतनन्दन! दान, यज्ञ तथा अतिथिसेवा आदि अन्य कर्मोमें नित्य लगे रहनेवाले प्राचीन शास्त्रज्ञ भी इस विषयमें ऐसी ही दृष्टि रखते हैं

pūrvaśāstravido 'py evaṃ janāḥ paśyanti bhārata | kriyāsu niratā nityaṃ dāne yajñe ca karmaṇi bharatanandana ||

ഹേ ഭാരതാ! പൂർവശാസ്ത്രങ്ങളെ അറിഞ്ഞ പ്രാചീന ആചാര്യന്മാരും ഈ വിഷയത്തെ ഇതേവിധം തന്നെയാണ് കാണുന്നത്. ദാനം, യജ്ഞം, ധർമ്മ്യകർമ്മങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയിൽ നിത്യവും വിധിനിഷ്ഠയായി നിരതരായവരും ഇതേ ദൃഷ്ടിയേ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു, ഹേ ഭരതനന്ദനാ.
