भृगु–भरद्वाजसंवादः: वर्णभेदस्य कर्माधारितव्याख्या
Bhrigu–Bharadvaja Dialogue: A Karma-Based Account of Varṇa
सर्वे लाभा: साभिमाना इति सत्यवती श्रुति: । संतोषणीयरूपो5सि लोभाद् यदभिमन्यसे
sarve lābhāḥ sābhimānā iti satyavatī śrutiḥ | santoṣaṇīya-rūpo 'si lobhād yad abhimanyase ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ലോകത്തിലെ എല്ലാ ലാഭങ്ങളും അഭിമാനത്തോടുകൂടിയവയാണ്— എന്ന് സത്യത്തെ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന ശ്രുതി പറയുന്നു. നിന്റെ സ്വഭാവം സന്തോഷം ധരിക്കാൻ യോജിച്ചതാണ്; എങ്കിലും ലാഭലോഭം മൂലം നീ അങ്ങനെ കരുതുന്നില്ല.”
