अध्याय १७८ — प्राणवायुगतिः तथा शारीराग्निव्यवस्था
Adhyāya 178 — The courses of prāṇa-vāyu and the regulation of the bodily fire
तयो: सम्प्राप्तयोरुष्ट: स्कन्धदेशममर्षण: । उत्थायोत्क्षिप्प तौ दम्यौ प्रससार महाजव:
tayōḥ samprāptayōruṣṭaḥ skandhadēśam amarṣaṇaḥ | utthāyōtkṣipya tau damyau prasasāra mahājavaḥ ||
ഭീഷ്മർ പറഞ്ഞു—അവ രണ്ടും ഒട്ടകത്തിന്റെ കഴുത്ത്-തോള്പ്രദേശത്തോട് അടുത്തെത്തിയപ്പോൾ, അതിന് അത് സഹിക്കാനാവാതെ വന്നു. കോപത്തോടെ എഴുന്നേറ്റ്, ആ രണ്ട് കിടാക്കളെയും ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിച്ച്, അതിവേഗത്തിൽ പാഞ്ഞുപോയി.
