अव्यक्त-मानस-सृष्टिवादः

Doctrine of Creation from the Unmanifest ‘Mānasa’

एतां बुद्धि समास्थाय सुखमास्ते गुणान्वित: । सर्वान्‌ कामान्‌ जुगुप्सेत कामान्‌ कुर्वीत पृष्ठत:,ऐसी बुद्धिका आश्रय लेकर कामनाओंके त्यागरूपी गुणसे युक्त हुआ मनुष्य सुखसे रहता है; इसलिये सब प्रकारके भोगोंसे विरक्त होकर उन्हें पीठ-पीछे कर दे, अर्थात्‌ उनसे विमुख हो जाय

etāṁ buddhiṁ samāsthāya sukham āste guṇānvitaḥ | sarvān kāmān jugupset kāmān kurvīta pṛṣṭhataḥ ||

ഈ ബുദ്ധിയെ ആശ്രയിച്ച്, ത്യാഗഗുണം ധരിച്ചവൻ സുഖത്തോടെ വസിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് എല്ലാ ഭോഗങ്ങളോടും ജുഗുപ്സ (വിരക്തി) പുലർത്തി, ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ പിന്നിലാക്കി—അവയിൽ നിന്ന് വിമുഖനാകണം.
