मनुष्यवदनाश्षान्ये भारुण्डा इति विश्रुता:

Transliteration

manuṣyavadanāś cānye bhāruṇḍā iti viśrutāḥ

Translation

അവിടെ മറ്റുചില ജീവികളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; മനുഷ്യസദൃശമായ മുഖമുള്ളവരെന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്ന അവർ ‘ഭാരുണ്ഡ’ എന്ന പേരിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധരായിരുന്നു.
