गृहानुत्सृज्य यो राजन् मोक्षमेवाभिपद्यते । लोकास्तेजोमयास्तस्य कल्पन्ते शाश्वती: समा:,राजन! जो घर-बार को छोड़कर मोक्षमार्गाका ही आश्रय लेता है, उसे अनन्त वर्षोके लिये दिव्य तेजोमय लोक प्राप्त होते हैं
gṛhān utsṛjya yo rājan mokṣam evābhipadyate | lokās tejo-mayās tasya kalpante śāśvatīḥ samāḥ ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജാവേ! ഗൃഹങ്ങളെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് മോക്ഷമാർഗ്ഗത്തെയേ മാത്രം ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവന് അനന്ത വർഷങ്ങളോളം നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന ദിവ്യ തേജോമയ ലോകങ്ങൾ ലഭിക്കുന്നു.
