Khaḍgotpattiḥ (Origin and Dharmic Function of the Sword) | खड्गोत्पत्तिः
अज्ञानान्निरयं याति तथाज्ञानेन दुर्गतिम् अज्ञानात् क््लेशमाप्रोति तथापत्सु निमज्जति
ajñānān nirayaṃ yāti tathājñānena durgatim | ajñānāt kleśam āpnoti tathāpatsu nimajjati ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അജ്ഞാനത്താൽ തന്നെയാണ് ജീവൻ നരകത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നത്; അതേ അജ്ഞാനത്താൽ ദുർഗതി പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. അജ്ഞാനത്താൽ ക്ലേശം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; അജ്ഞാനത്താൽ തന്നെ ആപത്തുകളിൽ മുങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.
