Khaḍgotpattiḥ (Origin and Dharmic Function of the Sword) | खड्गोत्पत्तिः
जनको युवनाश्रवश्च वृषादर्भि: प्रसेनजित् । लोभक्षयाद् दिवं प्राप्तास्तथैवान्ये नराधिपा:,जनक, युवनाश्वच, वृषादर्भि, प्रसेनेजित् तथा अन्य नरेश लोभका नाश करके ही दिव्यलोकमें गये हैं
janako yuvanāśvaś ca vṛṣādarbhīḥ prasenajit | lobhakṣayād divaṃ prāptās tathaivānye narādhipāḥ ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ജനകൻ, യുവനാശ്വൻ, വൃഷാദർഭി, പ്രസേനജിത്— ഇവരും മറ്റു പല നരാധിപന്മാരും ലോഭക്ഷയം കൊണ്ടുതന്നെ സ്വർഗ്ഗലോകം പ്രാപിച്ചു।
