The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
शरणं यामि यान्यस्मिन् दैवतानि वनस्पतौ । इसके बाद उसने उस वृक्षके नीचे ही रातभर रहनेका निश्चय किया। फिर हाथ जोड़ प्रणाम करके उस वनस्पतिसे कहा--“इस वृक्षपर जो-जो देवता हों, उन सबकी मैं शरण लेता हूँ

അതിനുശേഷം അവൻ ആ വൃക്ഷത്തിന്റെ കീഴിൽ തന്നെ രാത്രി മുഴുവൻ കഴിയാൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ചു. പിന്നെ കൈകൂപ്പി നമസ്കരിച്ചു ആ വനംസ്പതിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“ഈ വൃക്ഷത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന ഏത് ഏത് ദേവതകളുണ്ടോ, അവരെയെല്ലാം ഞാൻ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു।”
