कपोत-लुब्धकसंवादः — Hunter’s Remorse and Renunciatory Resolve
परिमुष्णन्ति शास्त्राणि शास्त्रदोषानुदर्शिन: । विज्ञानमर्थविद्यानां न सम्यगिति वर्तते
parimuṣṇanti śāstrāṇi śāstradoṣānudarśinaḥ | vijñānam arthavidyānāṃ na samyag iti vartate ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ശാസ്ത്രത്തിലെ ദോഷങ്ങൾ മാത്രം നിരന്തരം തേടുന്നവർ ശാസ്ത്രങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാമാണ്യം തന്നെ കവർന്നെടുക്കുന്നതുപോലെയാണ്. അവർ ‘അർഥവിദ്യ (നീതി-വ്യവഹാരവിദ്യ) യിലെ ജ്ഞാനം സമ്യകമല്ല’ എന്നു ചുറ്റി നടന്ന് പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു.
