Śaraṇāgata-Atithi-Dharma in the Kapota Narrative (कपोत-आख्यानम्—शरणागतधर्मः)

तत्‌ प्रविश्य क्षुधाविष्टो विश्वामित्रो महानृषि: । आहारान्वेषणे युक्त: पर यत्नं समास्थित:,उस बस्तीमें घुसकर भूखसे पीड़ित हुए महर्षि विश्वामित्र आहारकी खोजमें लगकर उसके लिये महान्‌ प्रयत्न करने लगे

tat praviśya kṣudhāviṣṭo viśvāmitro mahānṛṣiḥ | āhārānveṣaṇe yuktaḥ para-yatnaṃ samāsthitaḥ ||

ആ കുടിയിരുപ്പിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച മഹർഷി വിശ്വാമിത്രൻ വിശപ്പാൽ വ്യാകുലനായി, ആഹാരം തേടുന്നതിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടു, ജീവൻ നിലനിർത്താൻ പരമശ്രമം തുടങ്ങി।
