अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । भारद्वाजस्य संवाद राज्ञ: शत्रुंजयस्य च,इस विषयमें भारद्वाज कणिक तथा राजा शत्रुंजयके संवादरूप एक प्रचीन इतिहासका उदाहरण दिया जाता है
atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | bhāradvājasya saṃvādaṃ rājñaḥ śatruñjayasya ca ||
ഈ വിഷയത്തിലും ഒരു പുരാതന ചരിത്രദൃഷ്ടാന്തം പറയുന്നു—ഭാരദ്വാജനും രാജാവ് ശത്രുഞ്ജയനും തമ്മിലുള്ള സംവാദം.
