अस्मात् तु संकटान्मुक्त: समित्रगणबान्धव: । सर्वकार्याणि कर्ताहं प्रियाणि च हितानि च,“इस संकटसे मुक्त होनेपर मैं अपने सभी मित्रों और बन्धु-बान्धवोंके साथ तुम्हारे सभी प्रिय एवं हितकर कार्य करता रहूँगा
asmāt tu saṅkaṭān muktaḥ samitragaṇabāndhavaḥ | sarvakāryāṇi kartāhaṃ priyāṇi ca hitāni ca ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഈ ദുരിതത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മോചിതനായാൽ, എന്റെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും ബന്ധുക്കളും കൂടെ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും ഞാൻ നിർവഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും—നിനക്കു പ്രിയമായതും സത്യത്തിൽ ഹിതകരമായതും.
