शस्यं च नापि हर्तव्यं सारविघ्नं च मा कृथा: । पूज्यन्ते यत्र देवाश्व पितरोडतिथयस्तथा,खेतकी फसल न उखाड़ लाना, विवाह आदि उत्सवोंमें विघ्न न डालना, जहाँ देवता, पितर और अतिथियोंकी पूजा होती हो, वहाँ कोई उपद्रव न खड़ा करना

śasyaṃ ca nāpi hartavyaṃ sāravighnaṃ ca mā kṛthāḥ | pūjyante yatra devāś ca pitaro ’tithayas tathā ||

കാവ്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നിൽക്കുന്ന വിള കവർന്നെടുക്കരുത്; മംഗളകർമ്മങ്ങൾക്ക് തടസ്സം സൃഷ്ടിക്കരുത്. എവിടെ ദേവന്മാരെയും പിതൃക്കളെയും അതിഥികളെയും പൂജിക്കുന്നുവോ, അവിടെ കലഹമോ ഉപദ്രവമോ ഉയർത്തരുത്.

Even in tense or conflict-prone situations, one must uphold dharma by protecting common livelihood (crops), avoiding disruption of auspicious rites, and maintaining reverence for worship of gods, ancestors, and the duty of hospitality to guests.
