Testing and Appointment of Ministers/Servants
विज्ञाय स महाप्राज्ञो मुनि: श्वानं तमुक्तवान् | ज्ञाननेत्रोंसे युक्त उन मुनीश्वरने अपनी तपःशक्तिसे शरभके उस मनोभावको जान लिया। जानकर उन महाज्ञानी मुनिने उस कुत्तेसे कहा--
vijñāya sa mahāprājño muniḥ śvānaṃ tam uktavān |
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അതു മനസ്സിലാക്കിയ ആ മഹാപ്രാജ്ഞ മുനി ആ നായയെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്ത് പറഞ്ഞു. ജ്ഞാനനേത്രങ്ങളാൽ യുക്തനായ ആ മുനീശ്വരൻ തന്റെ തപോബലത്താൽ ശരഭന്റെ അന്തർഭാവം അറിഞ്ഞു; അറിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം ആ നായയോട് സംസാരിച്ചു.
