Gratitude, Discernment, and the Escalation of Power (Śvā–Dvipī–Vyāghra–Nāga–Siṃha–Śarabha Itihāsa)

स मुनिस्तस्य विज्ञाय भावज्ञों भयकारणम्‌ | रुतज्ञ: सर्वसत्त्वानां तमैश्वर्यसमन्वित:

sa munis tasya vijñāya bhāvajño bhayakāraṇam | rutajñaḥ sarvasattvānāṃ tam aiśvaryasamanvitaḥ ||

ആ മുനി അന്തർഭാവജ്ഞനും സർവ്വജീവികളുടെ ധ്വനി-ഭാഷ അറിയുന്നവനും സിദ്ധി-ഐശ്വര്യസമ്പന്നനുമായിരുന്നു. അവൻ ആ നായയുടെ ഭയകാരണം തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ് അതിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
