समयोथ<यं कृतस्तेन साचिव्यमुपगच्छता । नोपघातत्त्वया कार्यो राजन्‌ मैत्रीमिहेच्छता

Transliteration

samayo 'tha ayaṁ kṛtas tena sācivyam upagacchatā | nopaghātas tvayā kāryo rājan maitrīm ihecchatā ||

Translation

അവൻ മന്ത്രിയായി സേവിക്കാനായി നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നപ്പോൾ ഈ കരാർ അവൻ ഉറപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. അതിനാൽ, രാജാവേ, ഇവിടെ സൗഹൃദം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അവനെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവിധം ഒന്നും ചെയ്യരുത്.
